Former Lansing nightclub in the process of being revived

This fall will bring a new nightclub to a familiar space on South Cedar Street

LANSING, Mich. – For a few months, rumors have been swirling that Lansing’s Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge could have a second life. The venue, located on South Cedar Street, was shut down in 2016 following a shooting incident and never reopened.

Now, a Lansing barber is making plans to convert the former Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge into a fun, safe place to get your party on.

That barber is Leo Brown. If anyone can turn the venue into something special, it’s him, as Brown is a longtime party promoter and knows the entertainment scene.

Back in 2016 after the shooting incident, Fahrenheit was closed and city officials were in the process of revoking its liquor and cabaret licenses because of too frequent police calls.

But, the new establishment will be completely different. Brown hopes to make the venue the premier nightclub in Lansing- and very safe. He expects it to open this fall. Stay tuned to Urgence.tv for updates.
