Michigan State University-themed cafe closed for the ‘foreseeable future’

The Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe in East Lansing has closed its doors

If you’re a Spartan living in the Lansing or East Lansing, Michigan, area, then you’re familiar with the Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe. The Michigan State University-themed restaurant, located on Lake Lansing Road, is a poplar spot for watching big games.

Now, MSU fans will have to take a break from the eatery. In a Facebook post on the Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe page, management states the restaurant will be closed for the “foreseeable future” and apologies for any inconvenience. View the Facebook post below.

“It is with a heavy heart that we are suspending restaurant operations for the next foreseeable future,” the Facebook post states. “We truly valued each and every one of our guests and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We wish you a great holiday season, filled with love, laughter and family. Go Green!”

The post adds, “We wish you a great holiday season, filled with love, laughter and family.”

Management also wants to “make good” on any gift cards purchased. They direct those who bought a gift card to call (517) 337-4680 or email shofcatering@gmail.com for a refund. People calling or emailing should have their gift card number, card amount, name and phone number and address handy.
