Michigan Bacon Fest announces 2022 event details

Bacon lovers, rejoice! Michigan's Bacon Fest is here

LANSING, Mich. – Michigan’s Bacon Fest is coming to Jackson Field in Lansing this summer. The first-ever event, which is produced by Outlier Events in partnership with the Lansing Lugnuts and Footprints of Michigan, is set for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 30. Those who purchase VIP tickets will be able to enter the venue at 3 p.m.

“This event is a celebration of all things bacon, beer and fun,” a press release states. “There will be food trucks and local vendors featuring their take on tasty bacon creations.”

The festival will offer bacon everything, from bacon burgers to bacon donuts to bacon beer. Yes, you read that right- bacon beer. Also expect a range of local, regional, and national beers and spirits, plus live music.

The festival is for all ages. General admission tickets start at $30 for seven food samples, $40 for seven food samples and five beer/cider tastings and $55 VIP tickets for early entry, 10 food samples and 10 drink samples. All attendees will also get a souvenir cup and lanyard.

To score early access to tickets, the festival is asking potential attendees to sign up now for the priority list. Tickets will go on sale to those on the priority list June 2 and the general public on June 14.
