J Balvin Celebrates Bad Bunny’s No.1 Spot on Spotify’s Annual ‘Wrapped’ List

Spotify has released its annual 2021 Wrapped numbers, where listeners can check out the music they listened to the most all year. They’ve also unveiled the top artists, albums, songs, playlists and podcasts on the service, which is actually the world’s largest, bringing together more than 381 million total users.

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny is Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2021, garnering more than 9.1 billion streams. No. 1 on the list is Taylor Swift, who is also the most-streamed female artist 2021.

The most-streamed song of 2021 across the world is Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License,” with more than 1.1 billion streams. Right behind her are Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s “Stay.”

Singer J Balvin was the No. 7 most-streamed artist of 2021, and he was a big enough guy to celebrate Bad Bunny’s No. 1 showing. The Colombian took to his Instagram story to say, “A Latino gang, and we’re not going to bring it down.”

The most-streamed album across the world in 2021 is Olivia Rodrigo’s “Sour,” followed by Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia” and Justin Bieber’s “Justice.” The top global podcast was “The Joe Rogan Experience,” with “Call Her Daddy” and “Crime Junkie” right behind him. View the top global lists below.
