Alicia Machado Wins Telemundo’s ‘La Casa de Los Famosos’
Telemundo’s popular reality show “La Casa de los Famosos” recently wrapped up its season, and former Miss Universe Alicia Machado was crowned winner. It’s a significant accomplishment, as she’s the first winner of the whopping $200,000 cash prize.
The South Florida personality was one of the 16 Latin celebrities picked to live together, all being filmed, totally uncensored, for 24 hours a day and having their lives played out on Telemundo.com.
Early on, it was obvious that Machado would be tough to beat in the house. She often spoke about her mission to stand up to bullies, which earned her respect from the audience.
She also recently turned 45 and posted a celebratory photo of herself on Instagram, stating, “When for no reason or reason you feel beautiful! Good night to my loves, my malicious ones! My energy continues in the rebirth that comes with turning one more year or one less year to leave behind what made you lethargic. Happy birthday to me, “he wrote on his social network where he has more than 1.8 million followers.”
