‘Perfect Host’ Arrives in the U.S. via Pantaya
The thriller “Perfect Host,” titled “Perfecto Anfitrión” in Spanish, starring Sandra Echeverría, Alejandra Espinoza, Laura Alemán, Pedro Capó and Luis Roberto Guzmán is reaching the U.S. thanks to the Spanish streaming platform Pantaya.
The movie tells the story of Clara, Mónica and Lorena, three friends who take a vacation and spend a weekend together in Puerto Rico. Things start out fine and dandy but take a quick turn for the worse.
Clara and her best friends arrive at a stunning home-share rental for their much-needed girls’ trip,” the show’s official description states. “Their stay takes a dark turn when Clara starts to suspect the property’s charming and gorgeous host may be connected to recent “disappearances near the small coastal town.”
The Spanish film hit theaters in Puerto Rico last November and was considered a great success. It’s available to watch in the U.S. on Friday (Dec. 10) on Pantaya. It marked the return of Espinosa, a former beauty queen, to the big screen. The movie was directed by Ariel Annexy and written by Joaquín Casasola.
Pantaya is an American OTT streaming service for Hispanic and Spanish-language viewers. The streaming service is available in the United States.
