Cedar Point is lowering its price of gate admission for the first time in almost 20 years

Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park Cedar Point is lowering its price of gate admission for the first time in almost 20 years. That’s great news for locals and tourists who love the big thrills that Cedar Point has to offer.

The park will charge $80 for gate admission in 2023. That’s down from $85 last year. As Cleveland.com reports, the gate admission was down to $75 in 2021. According to the publication, the most recent gate price drop was in 2006, when the ticket price of gate admission went from $44.95 to $39.95.

The cost changes are only for gate admission tickets. Many thrill-seekers who visit Cedar Point don’t just walk up and buy tickets. If you go through Cedar Point’s website, you can find tickets for as low as $49.99 for most days, according to Cleveland.com. Also, the Cedar Point Gold Pass season tickets are $140 and come with unlimited admission to the amusement and water parks, parking and in-park discounts.
