Journalists and co-workers mourned the death of journalist Paulo Henrique Amorim on Wednesday. Amorim was at home in Rio de Janeiro when he suffered a massive heart attack.

Journalist Michael Keller, in an interview with Record TV, described Amorim as a great journalist. “A controversial person? Yes! But no one can deny his contribution. He was a very interesting man. A very forceful man, but he also listened when we spoke.”

“We would go to the street to record a story and everyone would recognize that we were from Paulo Henrique Amorim’s show,” Keller said in describing the popularity of the famous slogan “hello, that’s fine”.

The host Ana Hickiman spoke of the friendship and consideration for Amorim. She also told of her first invitation to work on TV as a columnist for the show All Seeing: “He gave me my first chance.”

She also said that at the time was very scared with the invitation. “As a great journalist how can you invite a model to make TV? He said he believed in me,” she recalled with emotion.
